After twenty-nine adventures, the commissioner is worn out. The doctor doesn’t prescribe pills, but a zen retreat in Japan. He leaves behind a chaotic police station, where Patrick and Floor battle for authority while Indy and Vince throw a party. But in Japan, calm does not come easily: under the watchful eye of Master Tomonori, the commissioner learns archery, meditation, and endurance. When the Japanese underworld strikes, his newfound wisdom suddenly proves useful. Erik and Brigitte give chase, from a sushi bar all the way to a volcano. Is enlightenment possible when crime never sleeps?
